SpinUp End of Life May 31st 2020

Since our launch in September 2019, we strived to provide a simple, no-fuss cloud platform wrapped in an excellent support experience for our customers. We created SpinUp to address the numerous shortcomings in the low-cost and simple cloud market. As you are aware, the world has dramatically changed over the past few months and will continue to be a different place for the foreseeable future. Sustaining operations while continuing to meet our high standards of performance, ease-of-use, and support has become a challenge in these economic conditions. As such, we have made the difficult decision to terminate the SpinUp services effective May 31st, 2020. After that date, you will no longer have access to your SpinUp cloud resources or data. Effective immediately, you will no longer be able to create any new resources.

What SpinUp services are included in the End of Life (EOL)?

All SpinUp services are included in the EOL.

Will my data be accessible after the EOL date?

Data will not be accessible after the EOL date. You will be responsible for migrating your data and infrastructure before the EOL.

Who is responsible for deleting my infrastructure once I have migrated to another platform?

You are responsible for managing your infrastructure, including but not limited to spinning down cloud servers and/or deleting any data contained on your infrastructure. Up until the EOL date, you will be billed for the services you use in accordance with your Terms of Service.

Is it possible to extend the EOL date if I can’t migrate off the platform in time?

It is not possible to extend the EOL date.

Will you continue to support SpinUp until the EOL?

Yes, we will continue to support SpinUp and will be available to assist you with any issues that you might have.

Will SpinUp migrate my environment to a new platform for me?

No, SpinUp will not migrate your environment for you. However, there are multiple migration services available from other providers. Please contact them directly with your questions.
